And BMW was never the same again after the X5.
I don't Remember Seeing a 3000GT or Miami Vice or Kit at the End from other 1991 Motor Week Trans Am GTA Reveiws
E38 R.I.P. 🙏
The original 4 door sports car was a Ford Taurus SHO with a 5 speed stick.Nissan as well as dodge were all copying the original 1989 model but they never quite lived up to the driving experience. The Dodge Spirit Rt was quicker 0-60 but crude and unrefined. And the 92 Maxima got the boost to 190 HP but still lost in a race with any 89-95 SHO with a 5-speed Ford should have put a 4DSC sticker in the rear window before Nissan did.
Only 4 gears ? The fuel consumption must be crazy !
There was no substitute.
i always wanted one
I personally prefer the "5.5" generation. I found a loaded 6spd 2nd owner with pretty low miles. I think im going to pull the trigger!
I remember Zoltar would play singles from Jam and Spoon, Opus III, 2 Unlimited mixed with NIN. Meanwhile WPGC would play La Bouche, Real McCoy. These afterhours mixshows definitely inspired me to be DJ back in the late nineties. Although, I play in weddings now days, whenever I get the opportunity, I will bust out the trance, euro, because that was more first love for Electronic Dance Music.
Mpg??
How is this engine and transmission? There is a lot of information about the J series but not so much these C series accord/legends.
Tengo un carro de 30000 y lo compre en 4000
Very nice car and exceptionally comfortable. However, if you want to own one then you better have a separate budget for the repairs. They are unreliable, and very experience to work on. The parts are getting cheaper for the car though. I am very impressed with the handling of the car. Did you see how flat it was on the test course? Unbelievable
And the wheel fall out-ball joint failure🤣
You will have plenty of warning if your upper or lower ball joints are failing. Don’t keep driving on them.
Thanks for this old footage. This is the best AMG V8 imo ! In terms of speed , comfort and quality.
Own one and I agree, It’s my ultimate road-trip vehicle and it cruises at 150 mph easily making 150 feel like 45 mph.
Grear car
Even today, I want one of these.
Talk about a real unicorn, a 2004 Maxima with a manual. Thats a car I really want to find.
Love my 05 MT which just hit 200k miles. Even with a few bolt on mods, I managed 15.1 @ 95mph and still runs like new. The car still looks as good as any other car out there today.
Mom still has her accord V6. 95' Purchased in 1996, still going strong! I get a good chuckle every time I see it in the driveway in amazement in 2022.
No cam belt. It's a double chain.
amazing vintage videos i have a c124 in Florence, Italy i enjoy it everyday
Benz is the greatest....genuine facts from the heart.
Excellent video Thanks for posting
Se bem que eu sempre fui mais tendencioso ao W126C, mas com motorização 3 litros, (6 cil).
Sonho de consumo! 👍🇧🇷
I turned 16 in 96 and got a 1990 white gsx exactly like this one. I won alot of high school races with what is now considered a weak offering especially on the top model. I loved/hated mine but wish I had it now because it's a car that wanted you to play with it and it was fun.
Next year my BMW 325i smg coupe will be 20 years of age, and still in good shape.
I love C124s
A for effort but those glitches man...
Dubbed from VHS?
Absolutely a stunning car always has been, it's too bad that they are just money pits, I've always wanted one especially with the elusive panoramic sunroof which was very rare👌
GOOD REVIEW & GREAT NISSAN.
got mine around 90k miles in early 2019 from the original owner, was garage kept and babied by an elderly driver and his wife. the body is pretty much flawless and the underside looks great for a new england car. so far, I've put ~52k miles on with many trips to canada and to ohio from maine. car has been great but has suffered from typical 6th gen issues- rebuilt valve body and installed a transgo shift kit at 130k, timing chain needed be done around 138k. also the 'coin slot' window in the roof had needed multiple reseals as water would leak thru if it rained hard. other things I have replaced include: 3/4 wheel bearings, cv axle, brakes, VIAS system threw a code (deleted vac, installed VIAS BOP) , both mufflers rotted out (installed catback), cat was clogged (gutted), power steering pump failed at 110k, alternator failed recently (replaced all belts + tensioners with alt), and I just replaced all trans&engine mounts. overall: I would recommend this car. fun to drive for what it is and decent on gas, however, if you're not mechanically inclined be prepared for possible expenses $$$$

Legendary commentary
i mean its a good car but why would you buy a small 4 cylinder luxury car in the us? maybe if you were a environmentalist or something. and i say that as a german
This was the 1st of the Nissan Maxima's Decline. This model was absolute delete garbage window when compared to any of it's previous generations. Is. Chronic failing transmissions And timing chain issues issues were reflected in it's mediocre resell value.. These cars were primarily leased least and unlike the previous generations once the lease was up They almost always went back to the bank which which then sent them straight to the subprime/buy here pay here pay here type car dealerships.. It was rare to see one of these that was older than 3 or 4 years old driven by a white guy.
I got a 06 with 285k and she still runs like a champ... I did my timing chain (all 3 chains)the guides and tensioners and new sprokets and water pump @ around 250k and haven't had any other problems but 1 I gotta change out my camshaft position sensors (easy fix) I'm hoping after that nothing else goes wrong. If I can break 300k I'll be happier then a fat kid with a cake to himself.. and note I'm not that easy on my car, I run her pretty good but the day I start driving it like a grandma everything will go to hell in a hand basket, that car likes when I drive it like it's new off the showroom floor, I don't smash the gas to the floor Everytime I drive it but I ain't that easy on her either.. them aluminum motors don't like easy and slow. Get on the highway and open her up and blow all the nasty shit right out the ass end lol
Best decision was buying my 04 TSX🙏🏼
Hearing buddy yell "Yeah, that's slower than stock" had me rolling 😂😂😂
Guy in the Z hit the brakes at :40
is that's a SUPRA?
The European cousin of this car, the Renault Vel Satis, looks quirky because it is higher and has a hatchback but it is an excellent car if you stay away from the diesel engines. In particular, the model with a 3.5-liter petrol engine in Initiale trim mixes high quality leather and real wood and can be had for €4.000, down from €50.000 in 2004.
My father has one almost exactly like this one.
17 years now👍✨
First and best, Copper/ Silver unrestricted.
This is a vintage video! Thanks for sharing.
Е-39 ❤️
Had one in a 6MT. Sold it. In a WRX now. Love the new car, but man, this was such a buttery smooth car to drive!
